Target Audience

The project involve 2 different targets of participants:

Direct: Schools staff, teachers, youth workers

Indirect: Local school pupils; Educational institutions/bodies/NGOs/Youth centers

The period: september 2022 – august 2024

The main results of thiis project will be as follows:

• 1 Guide explaining the general concept of green building practices and such practices can be implemented in schools with concrete examples of existing practices already implemented in European schools;

• The concrete implementation of green building practices in the participating schools.

• The Toolkit will be a tangible result issued from the co-design process between the Schools involved in this partnership and MVNGO, expert in Non-Formal Education, providing specific activities, actions and methodologies to be implemented for empowering students in increasing awareness on the benefits of green building practices as a tool to help to face the environmental crisis across partner counties and Europe.

• The establishment of the European Green School Council will serve the cooperation among the schools to share the green building practices implemented so far. First Summit of the GIFs EGSC will help the partners to achievement the WP objectives as the Summit will constitute the official meeting in which the schools’ representatives at the Council will discuss Green Building practices implemented so far, their success and the new initiatives to undertake in this way.

• Social Campaign is going to help the partners to achieve the project objectives and will promote cooperation among schools not only at the GIFs Council, but also with all the schools which may want to take part in the social campaign to share their green building practices they implemented.ed Nations (UNDEF), and with foundations such as EYF, Fondazione con il Sud, Anna Lindh and Open Society.
